The Cells, Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, PA
The prison, which
was built in a Gothic style to intimidate prisoners, was operational from
1829 to 1971.
While I was there, I took so many photos, I’m sharing them here by splitting
them up into three categories: cells, corridors and the exterior of the building.
These photos are of the cells of the building.
