I met Erta through the mail while doing Evolution Fanzine. He wrote to me saying he was learning to use a camera, loved hardcore punk and could hook me up with photos from West Coast shows. He was cool, always polite, didn't drink or smoke and was the first Hungarian, as well as San Franciscan, I had ever met. He had moved to L.A. by the 90s, were we finally met face to face.
