Musician and NY troublemaker - Harley Flanagan

I had first met Harley in NY through friends. Whenever the Cro-Mags would come down to Miami, we would get to hang out after the shows, shoot the shit and smoke out. This photo was taken when they played their first Miami show at the Cameo Theater.

The last time I saw Harley was in 1995 on a weekend vacation staying in New Jersey.
While passing through Brooklyn, I saw him walking through the middle of a rain storm with his dog.
I stopped him to say, "Hello." and asked where he was headed. With a pissed-off look on his face, he said, "I'll talk to you later."
I never saw him again, but have heard the crazy stories of the Cro-Mags and their misadventures.
