MY LIFE - AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE
I have reached this point in my life - as most have - due to a mix of genetics, self-education, and happenstance.
Since I was a child I have been finding treasures inside, and horrors outside.
When I was fifteen (1985) friends and I form our first band, Gang Bang.
In 1986 I joined a pre-existing band, Mourning Death.
In 1987 I began singing for Violent Deed, soon becoming active in the 'underground scene' with fanzines (Evolution being my first, as well as To the Left), some artwork, and local pranks.
Arrested in 1990, I was released 7 months later. I soon released the last issue of To the Left - and to vent some anger, I put out the first issue of Feast of Hate and Fear.
After the first issue, it wasn't long until I had lost my desire to become a part of established society. I decidedly became homeless from late 1990 through the summer of 1992, when I moved into a small Miami rat hole after spending a few months in California with an old girlfriend and in Colorado with old pen-pals - only to have my life blown away by Hurricane Andrew. A few weeks after the storm, two close friends, were slain by a National Guard Soldier sent to help hurricane victims. Stabbing them to death and having sex with two of the (three) corpses. When things settled - and again, to vent some anger - I released issue 2 of FHF, with a two page dedication to all my friends dead and gone.
I also joined Timescape Zero in the fall of 1992, while working on the second issue of FHF. We started with a huge local following, and later a nice national audience, as well as a little European notice.
Released issues 3 through 6 these next few years, which had an ever growing readership and fan base.
I have also preformed in several other side-projects; Dääb-Soul Destruction (noise; 1991- 1992), Hell to Pay (hardcore; 1992), Shroud (artpunk; 1993), sponsored events, pulled more pranks, and booked a few shows (CoC, the Undead and some local talent). All this time I keep painting... painting... and painting.
In 1995 Timescape Zero goes on hiatus after releasing Born with the Fear of Dreaming.
Timescape Zero resurfaces in 1997 to record Total War, and I release issue #7 of FoHaF. More pranks and weird shit that year.
Of course, I had to take many shitty jobs throughout all of this, and I keep finding myself in the center of trouble.
1999; Timescape Zero disbands for good. Issue #8 was almost done.
Being a near technophobe, I hadn't obtained my first PC until 2001, but soon learned how to operate the damn thing. Then came Photoshop, Dreamweaver, some html and finally this website.
Life is very interesting, as I have many close friends, and have met many interesting people.
I always keep busy with new projects, traveling and personal hobbies. I love to laugh, but I never believe the cookie.
I have learned the key to the mysteries, and the secret of life.
Anything else?
