Timescape Zero started in late 1992, while jumping from friend's house to friend's house. Little Havana had no electricity for weeks after Hurricane Andrew. Hangman was breaking up, they changed the name to Nine To Blacksburg (taken from a sign Faf found near murderer, Ed Geins' residence), and after trying out several vocalists, I sat in on a rehersal because Faf said they needed someone who could keep time so they could practice. I spouted off lyrical bullshit. They thought my vocals were perfect. They asked me to join, I declined. Days later, they asked again...

I accepted.
