1 - Tell us how your project(s) were started.
The band started in 1997, with 5 of us just getting tired of hearing the same old, same old from the bands around us. We wanted to something a little different. And 6 years later, here we are.
2 - What does music, in it's entirety, mean to you?
Music is everything to me. It creates a mood, it describes a mood, it alters a mood. It is like a living, breathing entity.
3 - What does art, in it's entirety, mean to you?
Music is art, painting is art, writning is art. Art is just a way for humans to express themselves through a creative medium.
4 - Who is your favorite author, and why?
Rumi, a poet from a long time ago. He captured the essence of the human sooo many years ago, and all his writings stay true to this day. Some of things he was writing before 600 still apply to people today.
5 - As your best friend, describe yourself.
Caring, nice, comforting, a good listener, funny, the guy that would give you
the shirt off his back if you needed it.
6 - As your worst enemy, describe yourself.
Big, hairy, mean, cocky, quiet, thinks he's better than me, what an asshole.
7 - If your persona were immortalized as a cartoon character, who would it be?
Zartan, from GI Joe.
8 - Do you think there are conspiracies against the "everyday person"?
Not really. I think there are conspiracies that keep facts hidden from the everyday Joe, but most I think are made up by the average person to explain away his/her own inadequacies, or short comings.
9 - What do you do with your spare or free time?
Draw, read comics, collect toys, play instuments, talk with my wife, answer questions. I dont have much "spare time" really. I wish I did.
10 - Please give us your interpretation of "the meaning of life".
To follow your heart, and be happy. To stay true to yourself WITHOUT feeding the need to hurt those around you. It's fucking tough man, it's fucking tough.
